Just wanted to say you are a nice person. Some of the sweaters you gave us went to South Shore United Methodist Church (my old church in the neighborhood) that have a clothes giveaway, food pantry and free meal on the third Saturday of the month. Sharon P. shared some of her sweaters also. I went to drop off the sweaters to my friend who run this program, but end up staying to help serve food and I was able to observe the clothes giveaway. If children are excited about getting used underwear, imagine how they were when they got those nice sweaters. It always bittersweet to have the joy of giving, but to know this is only a small part of what they need. Since I left this Church, it appear more whole families are coming. (it use to be mostly men). There were many children this weekend and they were more concern about the clothes than eating.
Just wanted you to know you touched many hearts on Saturday.

Thank you so much for your gifts. It was so kind of you and such a blessing to us. The clothes fit Ben perfectly. I must just tell you - God's timing and faithfulness is so good and never ceases to amaze me. Ben's one and only pair of blue jeans are worn and beginning to fray at the hem and the knees - so what an awesome blessing to receive 3 pairs!! Shay took some of the bread rolls, cookies etc back to college with her to share with the other girls in her dorm, so they were greatly appreciated too.
Ben is so excited about going to Toronto - thank you for making this possible to him...
